of the speeches that she was
listening to in her class. One of
them was about these two gorillas,
Michael and Koko, who painted their
own interpretations of certain things
in life. I wanted to see the paintings, so
I looked them up and learned. You see,
Michael had a serious passion for art
and his paintings. Koko only painted for
fun. Apparently, Michael was pretty
good at describing emotions, memories,
and lies through sign language. This
probably contributed to the specific
meanings of his artwork. Some human
artists were actually envious of the art-
work because of the credibility the
pieces have earned. The art was "pure."

"Anger" by Michael
What he thought and painted of this emotion.

"Love" by Koko
Her flavor of love. She knew this one pretty well.

"Dinosaur" by Michael
He used his favorite T-Rex toy
to help himself out with this one.
He used the toy to get the scales
effect.

"Stink Gorilla More" by Michael
A bouquet of flowers. "Stink"
meant flower or the odor.

"Apple Chase" by Michael
My favorite. It's the most accurate
one obviously and he did it from
memory. He must have really
adored his dog, Apple, whom he
loved to chase.
I have no life in the wee hours of
the night when I really should just
sleep.
Can't sleep just yet no. I'm watching a
"Miami Ink" marathon.
